Secant Space is an independent curatorial platform and artist residency in Istanbul, run by a Swiss non-profit association. We support transdisciplinary, research-driven projects by artists, curators, and researchers from across the globe, with a strong emphasis on dialogue, critical thinking, and intersectional exchange.
By hosting international residents in Istanbul, a city shaped by centuries of cultural crossings, we create encounters that defy geographical, disciplinary, and linguistic boundaries. The projects we support question norms, engage deeply with local contexts, and contribute to the global conversation on memory, ecology, and social transformation.
